Void forming Tubes in Metro Station Amsterdam
The construction of three large Metro Stations in the city center of Amsterdam was a logistical challenge for the three participating companies. The special construction with cover type architecture and the difficult ground required the usage of wbr pipes. Hydra displacement pipes were used for weight reduction purposes of the ceiling elements. Due to the limited space conditions in the city center an intermediate storage
at site was impossible – but of course no problem thanks delivery just-in-time for wbr.
