Installation
Preparation: The threaded rods (2) are to be screwed into the weld collars (1). Make sure that not the ends with the red marks, but the opposite ends are used, so that they can be screwed out again. The anchoring spots are marked on the sheathing base. Holes with a diameter of 10 mm are to be drilled into the sheathing.
Assembling: The threaded rod which has been screwed into the weld collar is pushed through the spacer (3), with the gasket being inserted between the weld collar and the spacer. Then the rod is pushed from above through the sheathing, and is tightened from below by means of the hexagon nuts, supported by a wooden support and a pressure plate. Now the pipes can be placed onto the spacers and be aligned. Then the strip ends are combined above the pipe summit over a length of approx. 120 mm, tightened with a tie rod and connected firmly in a strip lock by means of the locking pliers.
Disassembling
The anchoring connection is loosened by unscrewing the threaded rod from the weld collar by means of a pin or a nail with a diameter of 3.5mm, which is pushed into the hole. The wooden supports are removed. If, in individual cases, it should be difficult to loosen the threaded rod, the hexagon nut is tightened until it is stopped by the pin, and the threaded rod is unscrewed by making use of the force lock between the pin and the nut.
After the sheathing has been removed, commercial plugs are used to close the remaining holes.
Please note: It makes sense to use a wrench hammer to tighten the hexagon nuts.
