Metal pipes with low wall thickness, longitudinally welded in an overlapped seam with seam lengths up to 5 meters. This is the new product with which the pipe manufacturing specialist wbr, based in South Germany, plans to win the leading position in new market segments. Industrial and mechanical engineering, chemical engineering as well as aerospace and medical engineering are the main fields in which these tightly welded stainless steel pipes can be applied.

Focused on these target markets, the pipes meet maximum quality requirements and are available in nominal widths from 20mm to 100 mm. Welding with overlapped seam provides high leakage resistance of the pipes and offers significant economic advantages in comparison with butt-welded pipes and mainly in small series manufacturing. The low wall thickness allows for extremely low weight. A big plus for handling and mounting.
