Fitted dimension c = 225
If threaded rods are not required, a corresponding remark is to be added
Before being embedded in concrete, displacement pipes must be secured against lifting in the unhardened concrete. This can be achieved by the temporary application of load which, however, will cause additional stress to the sheathing and the supporting structure and will hinder the concrete work. The better solution therefore is the anchoring of pipes below the sheathing. The strength of the lifting forces is quite often underrated in practice, especially with pipes of greater diameters. it is therefore recommendable to use statically tested anchoring systems. Hydra tie rods are statically tested and have proven their economical application in practice.
